Who is Still Kickin' for?
Still Kickin’ is for anyone who wants a simple way to stay connected to the people who matter. It can be especially useful for people who live alone, older adults, solo travelers, remote workers, college students, runners and hikers, people with medical concerns, or anyone with family and friends who may not always be nearby. You don’t need to consider yourself “at risk” to use Still Kickin’. Sometimes, a little extra peace of mind is reason enough.
How does Still Kickin’ work?
Choose your Trusted Circle and set a Check-In Schedule that works for you. When a check-in is due, Still Kickin’ reminds you with a simple notification. Tap “I’m Still Kickin’” and your next check-in is scheduled automatically. If you miss a scheduled check-in, Still Kickin’ can alert your Trusted Circle so they know it may be time to reach out.
What happens if I miss a check-in?
Still Kickin’ can automatically notify the people in your Trusted Circle using the alert methods you’ve enabled. Depending on your plan and your contacts’ permissions, alerts can be sent by email, SMS, and automated voice call. The alert lets your Trusted Circle know that you missed a scheduled check-in so they can decide how best to reach you.
What is my Trusted Circle?
Your Trusted Circle is made up of the people you choose to be notified if you miss a scheduled check-in — such as a spouse, parent, sibling, friend, neighbor, caregiver, or anyone else you trust. Each person must accept your invitation and choose which types of alerts they agree to receive. You remain in control of who is in your Trusted Circle and can remove someone at any time.
I’m a Trusted Circle member. How do I manage my alerts or leave?
When you join someone’s Trusted Circle, you’re always in control of how Still Kickin’ contacts you. Use your original Trusted Circle invitation link anytime to manage your alert preferences. You can turn SMS, Email, or Voice Call alerts on or off based on the options available to you. You can also leave the Trusted Circle at any time. Once you leave, Still Kickin’ will stop sending you alerts for that person. No app or Still Kickin’ account is required.
Why is Always Notify included for free?
Some features are too important to put behind a paywall. Always Notify is designed to add an extra layer of reliability to Still Kickin’. If your iPhone is dead, lost, has no signal, or otherwise can’t complete the alert process locally, Still Kickin’ can still recognize a missed check-in and help notify your Trusted Circle. We could have made that a Pro feature. We chose not to. If you’re trusting Still Kickin’ to notice when you don’t check in, we believe that core protection should be available to everyone — not only people who pay for an upgrade. Still Kickin’ Pro adds more features, flexibility, and ways to stay connected. Always Notify is about making the core experience more dependable, and we believe everyone deserves that.
What if my iPhone is dead, lost, powered off or has no signal?
With Always Notify (FREE for all Still Kickin’ users), Still Kickin’ adds another layer of reliability by allowing your missed check-in to be detected by Still Kickin’s backend — even if your iPhone is unable to complete the alert process locally. This can help keep your Trusted Circle notifications working if your phone runs out of battery, is lost, powered off or loses cellular signal.
Is Still Kickin' free? What does Still Kickin' Pro include?
Still Kickin’ includes the essential features you need to start checking in and connecting with your Trusted Circle. It even includes Always Notify, which can still alert your Trusted Circle of a missed check-in even if your iPhone out of battery, powered off, lost or has no signal. Still Kickin’ Pro expands the experience with additional Trusted Circle contacts, Voice Call Alerts and more flexible Check-In Schedules. You can choose the option that works best for you, and available plans and pricing are shown in the app.

Does Still Kickin' track my location?
No. Still Kickin’ does not track your location. Still Kickin’ is built around something much simpler: whether you completed your scheduled check-in. Your check-in and alert information is used to operate the service and provide the features you choose.
Is my information private?
Still Kickin’ is designed to collect and use the information necessary to provide your check-ins, Trusted Circle invitations, and alerts — not to monitor your everyday life. Your Trusted Circle receives information related to your missed check-in alerts; they do not get access to your phone or an ongoing view of your activity. Is Still Kickin' an emergency service?
No. Still Kickin’ is not an emergency service and is not a replacement for 911, emergency services, medical monitoring, or professional care. Still Kickin’ is a personal check-in and alert app designed to notify people you choose when you miss a scheduled check-in. It cannot guarantee that an alert will be delivered or that someone will respond. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
